Birch Plywood
Birch plywood is available in a range of grades defined by the face veneer, the highest of which is virtually blemish free and ideal for staining or lacquering. Its consistency, strength and delicate colour means it is also frequently used in the manufacture of furniture.

Birch Plywood Grading
B Grade
The highest grade available for clear finishing. Clean appearance, no plugs with only minor natural features such as small pin knots.

Birch Plywood Grading
S Grade
Virtually blemish free face with minimal small knots and other minor characteristics. Sanded on both faces.

Birch Plywood Grading
BB Grade
Wood patches replace all major defects. Some brown stain is permitted to allow for colour variations.

WG Grade
All sound knots permitted with some open defects. Sanded on both sides.

WISA® Hexa Grip
A smooth, phenol coated, Birch throughout plywood panel, coated with a brown film and imprinted with a hexagonal pattern intended for use as flooring in the transport industry. Sawn edges need to be resealed.
